The Aeronautics and Exploration Mission Modeling and Simulation (AEMMS) contract support a wide range of concept development, engineering, testing, and implementation of new technologies for fixed-wing and rotorcraft aero-space vehicles for NASA Ames Research Center and the U.S. Army Aeroflightdynamics Directorate all located at Moffett Field, CA in the center of America's Silicon Valley. STC applies Modeling & Simulation across the entire technical domains at NASA Ames research Center. For example, STC develops the most advanced technologies for Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Structural Dynamics through High-performance computing models and simulations for the development and implementation of such leading vehicles as the Orion Launch Ascent Vehicle, Multipurpose Crew Vehicle, the next wave of Rotorcraft / Vertical Lift technologies, Life Support Systems, the SpaceX Falcon 9 Reentry Vehicle, the Sierra Nevada Dream Chaser Cargo System, or the X-15 Plane research, and development / implementation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Air Traffic Management systems.
STC now supports NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center(AFRC) under a Joint Venture engineering contract with New Horizons Aeronautics(NH Aero). This work supports NASA’s lead center for atmospheric flight research, operations, and testing and continues to accelerate advances in science, technology, and exploration, with the goal to enhance knowledge, education, innovation, economic vitality, and stewardship of Earth. STC supports NH Aero by providing flight research and development for NASA aeronautics, and global flight operations and development for NASA science in support of astrophysics and earth science. We also support human space flight and space technology efforts through atmospheric flight validation.
